William Grant Galbreath Jr., 77, of Backwater Lake in rural North Webster, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw. Born July 8, 1947 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of William Galbreath Sr. and Phyllis (Moore) Bauer.
Growing up in Fort Wayne, Bill attended Northside High School. On October 5, 2001, he married Tina (Altic) Woebbeking. For over 30 years, Bill worked construction doing drywall. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Bill is survived by his wife, Tina Galbreath; children, Robert Galbreath, Carrie (Brady) Weldon and William Keith (Jenn) Woebbeking; son-in-law, Mark Phillips; sister, Sandy Minnick; brother, Donny Galbreath; sister, Cricket Griswold; sister-in-law, Jane Galbreath; grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla, Shelby, Kaden, and John; 7 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his step-father, Bert Bauer; daughter, Chalice Woebbeking and brother, Larry Galbreath.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 pm, Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will begin at 3 pm with Pastor Thomas Eggold officiating.
