Bob Herron

Robert W. “Bob” Herron, age 62, of Decatur, IN, passed away at 6:43 pm on Saturday December 11, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.  Born on December 29, 1958, he was the son of Kenneth Wayne and Virginia (Cramer) Herron.

Bob attended Columbia City High School and graduated with the Class of 1977.  He worked as a Security Guard Supervisor for the last several years.  Bob enjoyed working on his computer, watching horse races, and helping his best friend with his horses in his free time.

Survivors include his children Cheyenne Herron and Patrick Herron; grandchildren Keaton and Kwinton Herron; mother Virginia Schram; siblings Vicki Lee Moore, Penny Mosher, and Kenneth Herron; best friend Tim Gilbert.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Herron, step-father Jack Schram, and brother-in-law Stanley Mosher, sister-in-law Sharon Herron, and daughter Robin Marie Herron.

Private family services will be held for Bob.
