Charlotte Rachel Herriott

Charlotte Rachel Herriott, 65, of Columbia City, IN, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne, IN. Born March 4, 1958, in Delaware, OH she was the daughter of the late Paul (Willeen) Fraker and Helen (Dick) Fraker-Gordon.

She graduated from Buckeye Valley High School, Delaware County, OH with the Class of 1977.  On May 21, 1983, she married Reggie Herriott. Cherri worked for Wendy's Corporate Office, Passages Inc., home health care, and raising children.

Many people were positively influenced by her radiant smile, genuine kindness and unwavering patience. Leaving an indelible mark on their lives. Cherri devoted the majority of her life to nurturing and caring for her beloved family, cherished friends and an extensive network of loved ones. The connection shared between Cherri and her grandson was truly extraordinary filled with an undeniable sense of awe and wonder.

Cherri found immense joy in embarking on vacations to the vibrant Delaware County Fair, where she revealed in the lively atmosphere, relished the melodic tunes of various bands, and delighted in dancing alongside of her beloved husband.

Additionally, she took great pleasure in witnessing the boundless energy of her children and grandchildren as they participated in sports and engaged in various school activities.

Cherri is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Reggie; most favorite daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Patrick, and Amy (Jamie Harvey) Herriott; loving grandson, Titan Patrick; grand dog, Carl; brothers, Dean (Kathie Murphy Saunier) Fraker, and Larry (Linda) Fraker; and several nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by brothers, Eric and Steve Fraker.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, October 29, 2023, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

Visitation also 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr, Delaware, OH.  Funeral Service 10:30 am Wednesday, November 1, 2023, also at Snyder Rodman Funeral Center.  Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Delaware, OH.

Memorial donations may be given in memory to the Dementia Society of America.
